Rotary Club of Windermere President 2024-2025 

Gregg Anderson

Gregg is a 7 year member of the Rotary Club of Windermere, but his exposure to Rotary started long ago. His father was a 50+ year Rotarian in New Jersey and Florida and Gregg was a 3 year member of the Interact Club of Largo (Florida) High School.
He attended Florida State University in Tallahassee and Florence, Italy, graduating with a Communications degree that lead him to enjoyable careers for both the Walt Disney Company and Wyndham, where he recently retired as the Brand President of Wyndham’s Registry Collection Hotels & Resorts. He is an avid extreme backpacker listing recent hikes on Iceland’s Langavegur Trail and Chile’s 19,000 foot Saircabur Volcano in the Atacama Desert as two of his most memorable. Gregg is married to Shawn, and they have two sons, Alec in Colorado and Calvin in England. He is currently the Chair of the Town of Windermere’s Long Range Planning Board and a member of Windermere’s Centennial Commission.

Gregg’s message about Rotary is simple: “You have the ability to affect positive change in your life, the lives of those in need, and the community around you. Becoming a Rotarian is the perfect way to be part of something greater than yourself, to join with other like-mined people to do good in the world.”
